You communicate more with your energy field than with words … hence keeping it radiant is an awesome natural investment that can only benefit you greatly … the aura field radiates your presence and intent, and acts as a powerful shield too; it is the space from which all dis-ease begins and slowly works its way, if unattended, into the physical body. Did you know this Sunday the 21st of June (this Sunday) is official word yoga day? It is ALSO WINTER SOLSTICE.

Do you know about Summer and winer solstice?
In a nutshell:

“The winter solstice is a poignant time to stop and listen, to harmonize our energy and reassess our connection to our spirit and life’s purpose. It is a powerful time of re-birth and transformation – to acknowledge our shadow, heal our wounds, release old thought patterns and align with our light to illuminate our highest destiny.”

I am ‘just’ (it means the world to me!) doing my usual class on world yoga day, Sunday as usual  (plus Thursday of course), and did not get involved in a big mass production community event, but will someday for sure … this time was a quiet time for me and I had no inclination to join up with a large gathering – it has been a very inward few months for me. I honour that strong message and I know I will be very dynamic and create and co-create many yoga events for you all and for this beautiful community of like minded beings in spring time! 

And YES we are having free chai in class – please bring your mugs, mat and blanket :). Plus water and pillow :-D. 

It is an absolute privilege to see you in class, to share the joy of inner bliss while taking great care of our physical body of light and our mental health too. So we can shine our full human potential. And hence uplift the planet!!!! 🙂

In July two things are happening for your diaries: 

  • I am going to be briefly AWAY in Bali (yay our retreat is FULLY booked now) for our annual overseas sacred women’s  soul retreat .. I will be away for only a week, so just that week there are no classes … the classes I will be awayare: Thursday 9th of July and Sunday 12th of July. 
I may send you a home practise and see how you go while I am away. ;-).
  • I am offering a fundraiser kundalini yoga class: a cure for brain cancer, where all proceeds go to the organisation to help with research and increase awareness. This is on Saturday the 25th of July in the afternoon, from 3:00-4:30pm. Bookings are via my website under ‘special events’. Cost- donation: $25. We will have cool beanies and water bottles for sale. All proceeds go straight to the fund! We keep nothing. The link is under ‘special classes’ on my website.

This week: Thursday 7pm and Sunday at 4pm: Your 7th light body of consciousness: the Auric Body

Everything is vibrational energy and has an energetic field, the healthier the more expanded and radiant. We call this an electromagnetic field or auric field/body.

You can learn to see auras, which is in your inherent set of abilities always. There is a 40-day practise and kriya for that. However really, you sense it anyway. You always notice it when you are wanting to be in the presence of someone with a certain vibrational field, and also you know when someone is having a bad day, by the feeling of their energy that surrounds them.  And generally you tend to wish to stay away from a person with an aura that is small and heavy and of lower vibrancy. Trusting that is easy.

Plants and animals have energetic vibrational fields (auras). This is depicted in this apple in a certain way.  You taste it as pranic life force when you bite into it, and you busy literally receives this pranic life .. mine responds by feeling so amazing, I cannot ignore it! Do you sense yours? 

If you look after your aura, you can help many just with your mere presence. You uplift and help others release the heaviness and shift into new ways of seeing and being.
A great sign of your aura being healthy is that you can be who you are! You can listen to what someone says, and make up your own mind about it.
People with weaker auras tend to always get along by going along. That is not living your truth or being empowered to shine your unique light! Often this person is unfulfilled deep down and not ‘alive’ or ‘passionate’ about life. They don’t have that zest and high energy for life. They are scared to stand out. People with a weak aura tend to do what is expected of them. They play it safe with their friends by wearing the ‘same clothes’ and speaking the same thoughts.
They are unwilling to be standing out or to be OUTSTANDING!
With a strong aura you are confortable to be who you are.  You are ok to stand out.  To live your full potential. You are also ok with others doing the same!

By the way: wearing white gives you an extra 12 inches of aura. And natural fibres are important for this too. Synthetics block the free flow or the natural expansion of energy. So stick to, for  example cotton, wool, hemp and silk.

Water is great for the aura: showers, the ocean, swimming in a lagoon, having a salt bath etc.  cleanses the auric body. Drinking water clears the field of emotions and hence your energy field (aura).

A strong aura keeps you constant, and also again, protected from negativity or heavy energy. Walking in nature cleanses the aura too.

With a healthy aura you can be inspired and inspirational!!  .. it is like an energetic mantle that communicates for you.

In class we will do yogic exercises and you will feel lighter, expanded and brighter.  Then we will have a 7th body meditation .. wonderful!!!!
