Warm greetings to you!

Thank you all so deeply for your feedback and sharing!!!

I feel so great when we can be more connected and hence I co-create in the highest way possible for you to benefit and to to enjoy the kundalini yoga experience in every way!

My personal app is almost done and will also make bookings so much easier!

Our India Himalayan Ayurvedic retreat in December is filling up fast and I have not even advertised except in these newsletters so far…  I know it will be an incredible journey… more below! I re-shared some previous info about the retreat.

Please note that from now on TUESDAY classes in Burnside, Tusmore are going to focus on deep relaxation and meditation/healing through stillness in a stronger way.

Being a beginners class, we shall do the kriyas and meditations as per usual, but I am guided to make those classes more around healing, relaxation and deep meditative immersion over time. All classes include this, and Tuesday nights will simply have this more amplified. (see above, in the orange/red writing on top of this newsletter).

Please note April 15th I am running a workshop on DETOXING, fasting and supportive kriyas to heal on every level.

We accumulate a lot of toxic chemical substances from the air, food and even products we use for washing, cleaning and basically existing! A little bit is ok .. but these days we are all overloaded with this .. for it has crept into everything and cannot be avoided … but THANKFULLY we have incredible ways to consciously release these toxins. Toxic build up  can make us sluggish and unwell! The solution besides cutting down on toxic exposure: Our incredible cleansing organs.. lungs, liver, kidneys and of course much more. The way you detox has to work for YOUR body and lifestyle! We can use breath, specific liver/kidney/lung kriyas, meditations (for mental detoxing) and also consuming certain wonderful ayurvedic foods that you already have in your kitchen to deeply support this process! I am going to give you a selection of ideas, inspirations and programmes you can chose from to give yourself a lifestyle to detox when and how it truly supports you. Where you are not wiped out for days, but able to still function … this is important!

Please do book in by emailing me or texting me. These workshops are small and tailored to your needs!

The kriya at yoga class this week is to take you into deep meditation after shifting the energy balance through the chakras. It will take you from overactive or blocked lower chakra imbalances into higher centres of consciousness so you feel harmonised again! I will share about it as a contemplation in class, as always.

This will have a breath focus, as always, with this one I will share this information about it with you now:

“The character of your thoughts and emotions is reflected in the motion and level of energy in your breath. One of the first  habits of a yogi is to notice the state of the breath and prana. A disturbance in the subtle prana foreshadows what will manifest in the body and emotions. If you learn what your normal state is, then you can notice deviations that are unhealthy as well as healthy enhancements. You can choose certain behaviours and meditations to redirect and shape that inner motion. This short-circuits the cycle of manifestation.

You can avoid many illnesses and bad decisions.
It also opens your intuition to environmental changes. It increases your awareness of how other people influence you.
Meditation on the breath at the Navel Point is the starting point for awareness of prana.

Yogi Bhajan has had his students meditate in this manner for many hours. He would of course add the mantra Sat Naam to the flow of the breath.

With our meditation this week we are asked to practise this meditation in silence and assess your energy state. Establish your zero point internally so you can notice the impact of the various breath combinations.”

I am still doing the NLP training, loving it, and immersed in this and of course will share the gifts with you always!

Also I am getting ready for a PhD in consciousness research and very very excited and aligned with this divine timing in many ways!

Passionately here for you, on this amazing journey! Take excellent care of yourself, you are the world, you are the shift, the love, the divinity!!!

Sat Nam!!!
Abnashjot

P.S: Abnashjot is my kundalini yoga spiritual name. Some yogis asked recently – so I felt to explain. It was given to me through the kundalini yoga lineage.
It means ‘indestructible light’ .. the more I use it, the more I will embody this vibration of truth within my name. I always felt I was just light … and this is taking me deeply into this awareness within the illusion of this solid seeming physicality and life in duality. Deepest gratitude!!

P.P.S.: And as old concepts die, the ego gets upset, through sadness, anger, depression or any other expression unique for us all … I welcome it all and experience it. It releases. Sometimes unexpected, fast, you can barely catch it, if at all…. Fiery. Sometimes barely a blimp on the radar, and then it is gone … you even wonder what the big deal was a day ago … sometimes it rises, is expressed with tears, frustration or feeling really vulnerable, exposed and shaken up – but it clears quickly and just dissolves as you notice, feel it, allow it and then stillness arises … The release is potent and can be felt and experienced and also witnessed …all of that is pure energy … shifting … what an incredible experience if we just don’t label it as good or bad ..  let me know if you wish to know or share more … simply reply to this newsletter …

Holy City of Amritsar – info for our December Himalayas Retreat

The ancient city of Amritsar was founded in 1577 by Ram Das, a guru of the Sikhs. It was named after a sacred pool, the Amrita Saras, or “Pool of Nectar”.

A Sikh temple was built on an island in the pool and the city became a sacred place of worship for Sikhs both at home and around the world. In the early 19th century, part of the temple was covered in gold foil, and was thereafter called the Golden Temple. This incredible temple is one of the most popular places to visit in India and attracts even more visitors than the Taj Mahal.

Amritsar (literally, the tank of nectar of immortality) was founded in 1577 by the fourth Sikh guru, Guru Ram Das.The fifth Sikh Guru, Guru Arjan, designed the Harmandir Sahib to be built in the centre of this holy tank, and upon its construction, installed the Adi Granth, the holy scripture of Sikhism, inside the Harmandir Sahib. The Harmandir Sahib complex is also home to the Akal Takht (the throne of the timeless one, constituted by the Sixth Guru, Guru Hargobind). While the Harmandir Sahib is regarded as the abode of God’s spiritual attribute, the Akal Takht is the seat of God’s temporal authority.

The construction of Harmandir Sahib was intended to build a place of worship for men and women from all walks of life and all religions to come and worship Godequally.Accordingly, as a gesture of this non-sectarian universalness of SikhismGuru Arjan had specially invited Muslim Sufi saint, Hazrat Mian Mir to lay the foundation stone of the Harmandir Sahib. The four entrances (representing the four directions) to get into the Harmandir Sahib also symbolise the openness of the Sikhs towards all people and religions.Over 100,000 people visit the holy shrine daily for worship, and also partake jointly in the free community kitchen and meal (Langar) regardless of any distinctions, a tradition that is a hallmark of all Sikh Gurdwaras.
